AFTER LIFE Cauchemar 1974 FRANCE HARD PROG RE LP OOP (WAH WAH)

Ultra rare Spanish-only LP, first time ever reissued. Not available on CD, this is the only way to get this mega rare album at a reasonable price. Includes two bonus tracks from a rare 45, not included in the original release. As usual, the sound has been digitally remastered by the DENIS BLACKHAM at SKYE MASTERING. Cut by YANN DUB at REVERSE. Top audiophile sound on quality vinyl. Limited edition, 500 copies pressed. One of the major discoveries of the last years in the world of collectable underground rock records is Cauchemar, the only LP by demonic french fuzzers After Life. Released only in Spain by Discophon in 1975, it remained virtually unknown until some copies started to surface in the late 90s on the lists of some of the worlds most reputable record dealers. To make things more exciting, this French four piece was produced by no other than maverick Jean-Pierre Massiera (of Visitors, Horrific Child, Les Maledictus Sound fame) and includes nine tracks of heavy psych guitar action, screaming vocals and mysterious organ interludes in the best 70s hard progressive tradition. The reissue uses the effective original psych artwork and will include the rare 1974 seven inch featuring the otherwise unavailable Rolling Down and Things Of The Life. A must for lovers of loud & screaming hard rock as well as anyone interested in the european hard progressive genre. First ever reissue of this obscure album by the winners of the PRIX SPECIAL DISC JOCKEY to the best French band of 1974!

Grades are "Cover/Record"

Sealed : unopened, still in shrink.

M : new, unplayed and is in perfect condition.

M- : the record might have been played but it has no defects other than pressing stains that do not affect sound quality.

EX : only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract significantly from the sound. Cover also has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.

VG+ : played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise - still plays well. Cover may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.

VG : overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages. Cover is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.

INFO SEALED: Lp's & CD's will be opened & checked if desired after payment is received. I can't offer that recourse if you want the Lp sent sealed.
