Description
After Tea: same (aka "Joint House Blues") 1970, Holland/Negram NELP 076. Disc is in great EX to M- shape on side one, side two has a long light scratch that makes no sound until the last minute or so when a few scattered light pops can be heard. Plays almost perfectly M-, this disc gets a VG+ grade. Gatefold jacket has a split in the spine at the top, the lamination is peeling in a few areas but the artwork is not affected, a bit of tiny writing can be found inside the gatefold, this is a VG cover. Rare original home country pressing of their killer heavy blaster that was also issued in Germany on Decca as "Joint House Blues". What a crusher this is! It's a guitar freak's dream. This LP is comparable to Golden Earring's "Wall Of Dolls" LP or the Cargo LP on Harvest. In 1970 these guys could rock with the best of them, which seems totally incongruous if you've heard their annoying fluffy pop stuff from 1967. This is the only Dutch pressing I've ever seen of this one, which suggests to me that it's likely much rarer than the German edition.
