Some words on this issue: AGATA MORIO:“Chikuonban” (Vivid - VSLP-4017) Here you have a superb copy, an identical long gone and deleted deluxe reissue of Agata Morio's debut album. The original is impossible to find since it was officially released on August 1970 in an edition of 100 copies on Agata's own private imprint. These babies change hands now for astronomical figures. In 1997, Vivid Sound Corporation released the disc again in limited quantities. So that is the one you have here. It comes out in a beautiful gatefold cover, with insert. This disc is a stunning masterpiece, at which Agata gets flanked by Hosono Haruomi amongst others. Delicate and weird acid folk, hauntingly beautiful and interwoven with psychy & melancholic touches. This is one hell of an over the top fantastic lost and totally overlooked Japanese psychedelic acid folk gem. Highest recommendation. Even this edition is getting very scarce nowadays. Extremely beautiful copy in top-notch condition.
