Jam & Spoon's "Watch Out For Stella Club Mix" remix of The Age Of Love's is not only one of the greatest club tracks ever made but, to my mind, is up there with Kraftwerk; strong melodies, sparse but propulsive production, man and machine working together to produce something transcendent... in other words, a top tune!

Anyway, if you're looking at this you'll know the score. The UK vinyl of "The Jam & Spoon Mixes" was released in both an illustrated picture sleeves and React company sleeves. The labels are slightly different but there's no difference in the content, they're exactly the same.

Sleeve VG+, nice and clean, minimal wear/creasing.

Vinyl VG+, plays with a stong clean sound that's mostly EX quality. There is a touch of surface, heard at start, but it is very low and does not impede. There's a low volume pop on the first track but, again, this isn't too bad. I tend to overstate any flaws with vinyl, most sellers would probably advertise this as "EX".



PLEASE NOTE: I do not "sight-test" records and list with comments like "vinyl looks to be in good condition". This is because a disc can look perfect but still have surface noise throughout (as I've found on too many occasions). All my records are played from start to finish on a fairly unforgiving Sansui deck fitted with an Ortofon cartridge and stylus.
