HERE'S EARL GRESH AND HIS GANGPLANK ORCHESTRA doing a peppy fox trot with the unique title "AH! AH! AW! AW!" - which suggests - what?? I will leave it to your imagination!
(There is a rumor that the entrance to the Gangplank Club actually WAS a gangplank, that patrons were forced to walk - and drop about ten feet into a big pillow! At this point, I don't know how true it was, but it's a colorful tale, and I'm sticking to it!)
The flip side is by LES STEVENS AND HIS ORCHESTRA, doing the rousing Italianate fox trot "WHERE DO YOU WORK-A, JOHN?" with a vocal duet by Les Stevens (himself) and Leo Dale.
This original 1926 "Viva-Tonal" Columbia 841-D is in pretty nice E condition, with a little damage to the label of "Ah! Ah!"
