AIRSHIP – Get Out, Take Your Mother With You / Gimme a Can Of Spray Paint 7” vinyl release (Promo) on Decca Records from 1979 (FR 13856).


You are bidding for an original copy of this collectable single by Airship.

This is a copy of the only known vinyl release by Airship an obscure 4 piece band led by Eddie Adamberry who wrote and produced this single during the short time the band were together in 1979. A seldom seen collectable both in promo and stock copy form, and one that features on the wants list of many collectors of singles from the Punk / Glam / New Wave era.

Visually this copy is in really nice condition which is confirmed when it is played as the sound quality is superb, with just a little background noise during the run in / out of each side – I would grade this as strong Ex+, or even M-.

The labels are clean with no evidence of spindle marking proving this has been barely play – again graded as Ex+.

This single was never issued with a picture sleeve, but comes in a period Decca company sleeve which is clean but has a little light expected handling wear, so probably Vg+

Overall, I would grade this collectable single as a wonderful Ex+/Vg+ (vinyl/company sleeve).
