On offer here is a stunning and superb example of the legendary 4000 DS MK II tape deck.If you are reading this you will probably already know about its superior build,reliability and performance qualities.If you dont know there is a wealth of information on the net to inform.Sturdily built resulting in enviable reliability with superb performance characteristics demonstrate why after around 30 years these machines are much sought after.
The lucky bidder will receive a copy of the original user manual and a copy of the rare service manual itself running to 40 odd pages!

I once used this machine to record the folk group I was in to hear how we sounded.That was way back,we split up and I hav"nt used it since.I put it away,that is until today,I am clearing the attic (so to speak)and let someone else get some enjoyment and use out of this great piece of kit.
I have thoroughly checked all functions and of course everything works as they always did eg.Playback,record,F.Forward and rewind.Counter,VU meters + lights.Sound on sound,sound with sound.A wonderful example of a legend.
Included:copy of users manual and 4 spare reels of tape and 1 reel of maxell ud professional recording tape.I used to use this machine in conjunction with another 4000 ds I recently sold on e-bay.The only flaw I am aware of is small superficial scratch on aluminium facia panel under take up reel.
