Akai 4000DS Reel to Reel Tape Recorder:
This Tape Deck is in excellent condition and in full working order.Purchased in the seventies to record classical music from the radio, but unused since the late eighties.
The attached photos show the physical condition of the equipment and represented top of the range kit went bought.
The deck runs on two speeds, 7.5ips or 3.75ips.
It records on 4 tracks mono or stereo on each side(2 tracks)
Connects to external amplifier via 5 Din or 4 phonos.
There are a selection of tapes included: 7x7inch-recorded + 3 empty spools and 4 x 5.75inch recorded + 3 empty spools.
