AKASHA Orig rare Norwegian prog/psych monster

AKASHA – s/t (Norwegian Bat BATLP 0002, 1977) stunning private issue prog/psych gem has all the right moves, dark tripped out atmospheres, mellotron galore (one track features two of them!), fantastic washes of analog synth, perfectly placed guitar, great vocals, long tracks and just the right mystical lost basement feel, all housed in a classic gatefold cover, considered a masterpiece of music by Mr. Pokora himself in 2001 Record Collector Dreams.

Cover is flaking a bit along top seam, has a small dent in lower left corner, and very light overall wear, disc looks basically new (M-), plays with a couple random ticks and one short area where you hear a low repeated thud but that’s simply the nature of this pressing, nothing to worry about as it’s a real pleasurable listen all the way and as nice a copy as can be found, should also mention that the label on side 2 is slightly misprinted and shows a bit of a shadow image, no big deal, VG++/EX

SHIPPING: Records are shipped in custom rigid cardboard mailers with cardboard filler pads. Unless sealed, discs are removed from covers to prevent seam splitting.

USA POSTAGE/PACKING RATES: Priority Mail: 1 Lp = $6.00, each additional Lp is $1.00. Media Mail (slower): 1 - 4 Lps = $3.00. Insurance is optional. Once a box is in the mail loss or damage is the buyers responsibility. Insurance rates are as follows: Up to $50 = $1.30, $50.01 - $100.00 = $2.20, $100.01 - $200.00 = $3.20, $200.01 & up = $4.20.

INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE RATES: Airmail Europe = $12.00 for 1 Lp, Airmail Japan/Australia/Asia = $13 for 1 Lp, Airmail Canada = $6.00 for 1 Lp. Surface Mail is very slow and not recommended. Registered Mail is available as an option to most countries. Please contact me prior to making any payment to confirm postage rates for your item(s) to your destination.
