AKIRA IFUKUBE - GODZILLA - ATOMIC BREATH VINYL /400
First pressing. Deluxe version. Limited to 400 copies on 180 gram audiophile blue with white splatter 'Atomic Breath' vinyl. Remastered reissue of Akira Ifukube's classic soundtrack for the 1954 original Japanese version of Godzilla. Released in July 2014 by Death Waltz Recording Company. Sold out in hours.
Presented in a beautiful heavyweight tip-on, case-bound gatefold jacket printed on textured Galtex Prima card with an OBI strip. Contains an exclusive full colour booklet with liner notes by Japanese cinema expert Jasper Sharpe & Film On Wax Editor Charlie Bridgen. Art by Cheung Chung Tat. Remastered for vinyl from The Toho Archives. Brilliant music in a beautiful package.
The record is in NEAR MINT condition. No scratches, skips or scuffs. Played once. Some copies of this release were pressed with a faulty stamper for the B-side resulting in distorted sound, but there are no problems on this copy. All sleeves and booklet are in MINT condition. Still in shrinkwrap. No creases, bends, corner dings or seam splits.
