Al Michalek - Voices - Radio Canada International - RCI 420.  Sleeve VG++ (small writing on back sleeve; see photo) Record: NM.  Recorded in Toronto in 1975 by a quartet led by Al Michalek (flute, tenor sax). An outstanding session of spiritual jazz funk with stunning vibes, deep bass, superb soarings of flute & sax, and filled with funky breaks. This album was never released commercially, very great title on the CBC imprint. Contains 8 tunes in total, all original compositions, including the title track, compiled on "Ready Or Not" (Deep Jazz Grooves From The CBC Radio Canada Archive 1967-1977) some years ago. If you have never heard this gem before... Have a listen here! Do not miss this!
