Pacific Steel Co. / Pacific Steel Co. - Columbia/Pacific Arts PAC-7-121 (1978)(US) ...This auction is for a very RARE Autographed TEST PRESSING Record. A marketing concept of ex-Monkee Mike Nesmith and pedal steel guitarist and producer Al Perkins, the anticipated release of an all-star album by a group called Pacific Steel Co. created a buzz; an ever-expanding audience of pedal steel guitar fanatics anticipated some kind of super jam with five of the very best players. It features the playing of Al Perkins, Sneaky Pete, Red Rhodes, Tom Brumley and Jay Dee Maness. This is a rare Test Pressing from these recordings on CBS Records with a White Promotional label and a plain white cardboard cover. The Cover is signed by all (5) of the members and also says, "Thanks for the Support! - Pacific Steel Co.". This album contains 10 great tracks. The Record is in excellent (Very Good++ to Mint-) condition. The signed cover has a visible spot on the bottom left corner area but all the rest of the cover (including the seams) is in nice (Very Good++) shape. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
