Description

Offered here is a rare Alabama rockabilly / doo-wop single by The Flares entitled I Told My Baby / September Love on Ja-Kap Records. The a side is a great primitive rockabilly track with a moody sound with tremolo guitar and echo vocal effects, while the flip is a great doo-wop track with fantastic vocals and a rock and roll edge. Condition is VG- with light scuffing and scratches and a tear on the label on the flip. Playback is much closer to VG with minor noise and a constant sizzle that all of these have. I have a NM copy that sounds almost identical due to poor pressing quality when new. Hear a clip above!
