ALABAMA on vinyl 8 albums, 40 Hour Week,The Touch, Roll On, The Closer You Get, Just Us, My Home's in Alabama, Feels So Right, Mountain Music BEAUTIFUL !!!!
Eight albums on VINYL. All are in VG to excellent condition or as noted individually. Lot of 8 albums
All eight albums were PURCHASED NEW, in the U.S. at the time of initial release (all VINTAGE - unless noted otherwise), mostly played just once or twice, then taped and stored. Included are the following albums.
40 Hour Week - single album, played once, then taped. Shrink wrapped.The Touch - single album, played once, then taped. Shrink wrapped.
Roll On - single album, played twice, then taped.
The Closer You Get - single album, played four times, then taped. "Dixieland Delight"
My Home's In Alabama - single album, played four times, then taped. "Tennessee River"
Feels So Right - single album, played five times then taped. Lyrics included.
Mountain Music - single album, played five times then taped. Lyrics included.
Just Us - single album, played once.
All of these vinyl records are from my personal collection, purchased by me – one owner. You should know that I treated each of these recordings very carefully. I ALWAYS handled them on the edges or the center label. I cleaned each record carefully with Discwasher before play. These records have been babied. My habit was to record these records to reel-to-reel or cassette and put the albums themselves away. All records sold here have been personally inspected by me and I’ve tried to describe them honestly – as if I was the buyer. Point is, I really took good care of these records: they have been stored upright in a custom-built record cabinet in a smoke-free home since purchase. I have not played any of them in at least a decade. They are as is.
I make the assumption that you know that ANY vinyl recording does NOT sound like digital music, that it is a mechanical sound reproduction system and that random dust particles can be in the grooves, even on straight-from-the-factory records, but certainly on used and played records. Those particles can be cleaned using a record cleaning system like Discwasher which will improve the quality of the sound. Those particles are not a fault in the vinyl recording.
