Alan David – Self Titled Album (12” LP)
Alan David was born in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, England. He was a singer songwriter and actor in the movies “Gonks Go Beat” (1964), “Gadzooks! It's All Happening (1965)” and “The Small World of Samuel Tweet” (1974). He was also a producer for the short-lived Dutch record company Burdorf Booking. The most notable band and artist he produced for them were The Nits.
Side One: Hurt; I Wake Up Crying; Dancing Lessons; I Don't Want To Cry; Don't Bother Me; Walkin' My Baby Back Home.

Side Two: In Between Tears; I Want So Much To Know You; I Can't Go Wrong; I’ll Be Here; Aware Of Love; If You Were The Only Girl In The World.
The album is on Decca Records, LK 4674. Matrix side one: ARL-6689-1A (stamped). Matrix side two: ARL-6690-1A (stamped).
Released in 1965. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd light superficial mark that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (front laminated): very good (a few light creases mainly around the edges, sticker removal mark and aging on back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a
complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy on return of the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. 1706 (GS 9.9 (1706))
