Description
The Alan Davie Music Workshop 004 - Phantom in the Room.
An incredibly rare original UK vinyl copy of this privately pressed album on ADMW from 1971.
Only three other copies known to be in existence.
The EX condition heavy slab of vinyl looks almost like new, shiny black with only the lightest of surface marks showing when critically examined under strong halogen lighting. The disc lies perfectly flat on the platter and plays beautifully, all the way through, both sides, with no skips, no jumps, and no ticks.
The textured labels are unmarked, completely free from stains, writing or sticker tears. The heavy slab of vinyl is reminiscent of an early Island Records pressing (matrices are ADMW + 004 + A and ADMW + 004 + B, similar to early Jethro Tull).
The front laminated single sleeve, featuring artwork by Alan Davie himself, is in strong VG condition, completely free from stains, writing or sticker tears, with only very light creasing, some laminate lift (no broken laminate), some laminate reaction of some kind on the top above 'Workshop', corner dings, and vague ringwear on the otherwise remarkably clean unsoiled unlaminated white rear panel.
Good luck if you are bidding. I carefully package all rare vinyl with the disc removed from the sleeve to eliminate 'knifing' during transit. Please check out my other high quality original UK vinyl pressings.
