FOUNDING MEMBER of well respected and hugely successful Newcastle folk prog outfit Lindisfarne. Left the band, alongside others in 1972, to form Jack The Lad and also with an eye on a solo career of which 'Pipedream' was the first album. Music is primo early seventies folky prog with great instrumental backing from a number of cool contributors including former Lindisfarne men Ray Jackson & Ray Laidlaw, John Turnball (Skip Bifferty) and Kenny Craddock another Lindisfarne alumni.
A great album this one with beautiful songs and a true timeless quality. Super stuff and highly recommended. Comes complete with the 8 page booklet - all in beautiful condition.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Beautiful clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks and no signs of any use. Grades as top MINT-!
Cover: No signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed gate-fold cover with 8 page booklet stapled into center of the gate-fold. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Impossible to find like this after 46 years. Grades as top MINT-!
