Description

This is a rare out of print 12" LP of Alan Lomax's "Deep South...Scared And Sinful". Prestige International 25005. This album was recorded live in the field by Alan Lomax and Shirley Collins in 1959-1960 all through the south. This album features its original booklet which outlines the history of each song. The booklet is VG++ and in amazing shape. The cover is VG with some writing on the back (each songs length), a four inch seam split at the top mouth, and some flaking and slight splitting on the spine. The LP is VG++ with some light wear to the label and a small needle mark. Even with its minor imperfections this will make a great addition to any collection.
