Condition (jacket/disc): 7 LPs M-/M- in a VG+ slipcase
Description: All seven LPs recorded by Lomax and his then-sweetheart Shirley Collins (who promptly split back for the UK afterward) in the American south in the early 60s in flawless, radiant condition, housed in a slipcase. We have never seen a copy like this and never expect to again. Includes numerous classic performances by Almeda Riddle, J.E. Mainer, Fred McDowell, Lonnie Young, Hobart Smith, Estil C. Ball, the Alabama Sacred Harp Singers and many others. Reserve set at just $100 – a steal!
