Extremely rare original 1952 issue of "Lulu" operetta by Alban Berg; Columbia Records SL121 box set with complete libretto (see photos).  These are first pressings with matrix numbers 1B/1B/1A/1C/1A/1B.

Grading is based on Goldmine criteria:  

The discs have deep groove blue labels; due to their age I test played them and vinyl is graded "VG+" condition with moderate surface noise (see photos).  

The binder jacket is in "VG+" condition with the top edge of the box cover missing; binding is intact but worn and the three records are in fixed album sleeves within the box (see photos).

The libretto is in very good to excellent condition with no torn pages; mild age foxing is present (see photos).

Due to the fragile nature of these discs, they will be shipped Priority Mail with insurance and not via Media Mail.  We will send you an invoice when the sale is completed based on your geographic location.

Record grading is visual and based on the following criteria:

“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.

“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed  record.

“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.

“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.

“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.

“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and a few skuffs and light surface noise, but still quite nice.

"VG" Audible/visible scuffs, scratches and surface noise but plays without skipping.
