UP NEXT - A WEEK'S WORTH OF GOOD JAZZ LPS! This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1967 U.S. IMPULSE RECORDS FREE JAZZ LP titled 'Albert Ayler In Greenwich Village - Live At The Village Vanguard' from sax man Albert Ayler.   It is U.S. Impulse  Records catalog number AS-9155, first press black and orange labels, laminated gatefold cover.  this album was recorded LIVE at Village Theatre on February 26, 1967, and at Village Vanguard on December 18, 1966.  Personnel 2/26/67: Albert Ayler-alto saxophone / Joel Friedman-cello / Alan Silva-bass / Bill Folwell-bass / Beaver Harris-drums.  Tracks 2/26/67: For John Coltrane, Change Has Come.  Personnel 12/18/66: Albert Ayler-tenor sax / Donald Ayler-trumpet / Michel Sampson-violin / Bill Folwell-bass / Henry Grimes-bass / Beaver Harris-drums.   Tracks 12/18/66: Truth Is Marching In, Our Prayer. Visual condition of record is a nice VG++ with just one very light surface mark which cannot be felt and will not affect play.  Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with  some areas at and near the top of the spine and along the top edges on the inside of the gatefold cover where there was slight exposure to moisture and the inside cover slick is slightly stained and very slightly worn in a few spots along the top edge.  Outside cover also has a little general contact wear and a little general wear along the edges and on the corners.  This LP would be a nice addition to any free jazz record collection!
