ALBERT AYLER - Something Different!!! (Bird Notes 1 Sweden -1962) VG+/Ex.
Description: Recorded at the Main Hall of the Academy of Music in Stockholm, October 25 1962.
The line-up are:
Albert Ayler (tenor saxophone)
Torbjörn Hultcrantz (bass)
Sune Spångberg (drums)
This album does not appear at POPSIKE.COM or in any other listings of rare LPs. The rumour says that the LP was only pressed in around 25 copies.
The label owner Frippe Nordström sold these 25 copies himself. This copy belongs to one of Swedens most prominent jazz drummers, Mr. Erik Dahlbäck. He got the LP direct from Frippe when he slept over in Frippes apartment one stormy night in the mid 1960s. The LP has the letters BN 1 A // and BN 1 B stamped by a machine on each side of the "dead wax". This copy has white labels. A few copies with green label and the Bird Notes text are known among collectors. Anyway this is the ultimate chance to get hold of Albert Aylers original debut album. Don't miss this chance whatever you do!!!! The crown jewel in any serious jazz collection.
Condition of the disc: An overall all nice copy.
Condition of the sleeve: Yes the sleeve are in absolutelly nice condition. All seams and spine in perfect shape.

I am really sorry that the auction for of this item and the FRIPPE NORDSTRÖM LP has been closed down twice.
This is the third time I add this auction. The first time (last week) did I have to close the auction because the item was not visible and the 2nd time it disappeard was it ebay.com who closed it. And they did it without any logic reason???
If ebay.com stops this auction again I will not add it a fourth time.
