Description
Albert Ayler Trio - Spiritual Unity USA ESP 1002 1965 MONO w/"Ear" symbol in dead wax
comes with Paul Haines booklet in EX shape plus a newspaper clipping from the National Observer with an
article titled " The Moody Men Who Play the New Music ". Very cool.
Condition -
Cover: VG+ some mild aging issues, such as some light dirt smudges, very faint edge wear. In top left corner of the back cover there is the name "Manson" written in black ink.
Vinyl: VG I feel this album plays exceptionally well but there is an audible mark on side 1. I did not find it to detract from the listening experience for i did not find it aggressively annoying, just a mild tick present in the right channel, lasting for approximately 30 seconds but not constantly. The rest of the album I found to have no other faults worth mentioning. The record has moderate wear one should expect of a record of this age but it still retains a nice gloss and the centre labels look excellent with no spindle marks to the hole.
This is a beautiful record, a record meant to be played. Arguably one of the most important free jazz albums and an essential piece to any serious music library.
