Ivan Alchevsky (Tenor) (Kharkov 1876- Baku 1917) Since an early age Alchevsky differed the big musical endowments. Played the violin, appeared as a singer in charitable concerts. In  1901 Alchevsky made his debut at the Mariinsky Theatre as an Indian guest in ''Sadko''. His teachers were Felia Litvinne, Jan De Reszke, O. Palechek and his brother Grigori Alchevsky (teacher and singer).
