THE WORLD WIDE RENOWNED BRAZILIAN CELLIST ALDO PARISOT PLAYS J. S. BACH: THE SIX CELLO SUITES -  Exceedingly rare 3 LP Box Set recorded and issued only in Brasil in 1977 on Phonodisc 0-33-502-001/2/3. This set comes with its original booklet written in Portuguese, which is in excellent condition and shows some light age stain marks only. By the time this recording was made, Aldo Parisot was settled in the USA where he was Professor of Music at the School of Music of the University of Yale. This recording was made during his short stay in Brazil in 1977 to participate as the director of an International Cello Contest. Parisot plays a 1730 Stradivarius cello, which belonged to Emanuel Feuermann and is believed to be the last cello made by the Master of Cremona, and for that reason it is known all over the world as “The Swan”. Further to Parisot’s outstanding performance, the magnificent Stradivarius sound is wonderfully captured on this recording.

Box condition: VG++ (some surface marks, some age staining on the back, inner sleeves show some age stain marks).

Record Condition: All the 3 records appear to be in Near Mint condition, except for one harmless very light surface hairline.
