Following his extraordinary recording of the Complete Bach Suites for Unaccompanied Cello in 1977, the celebrated Brazilian cellist Aldo Parisot brought us another great Brazilian only recording on the Phonodisc label as a conductor and soloist of the Violoncello Orchestra of the School of Music of the University of Yale in the USA, where he was music professor. On this recording he and his cello pupils from the University of Yale play the following works: Villa-Lobos: Bachianas Brasileiras No.1 for Violoncello Orchestra; O Canto do Cisne Negro (The Sing of the Black Swan), played by the violoncellist Darylin Manring / I. T.
