Note : i brani sono eseguiti dai Solisti dell'Unione Musicisti di Roma con Alessandro Alessandroni alla chitarra e al sitar. Uno splendido album dove jazz, beat e sonorità "lounge" spesso s'incrociano fondendosi in stimolanti ritmi. Tra i brani prevalentemente jazz cito : " THEME FOR UMBERTO ", con tromba e sax tenore in risalto, " CIK CIK " esaltato da basso e pianoforte, " BLIND SIDE " caratterizzato da ritmica molto veloce, " THEME FOR ALFIO " brano fox-swing con ottimi assoli di tromba, pianoforte, sassofono e trombone. Tra i brani che pur conservando una venatura jazz danno sfogo al suono beat : " JAZZ A CALCUTTA ", con un pizzico di psichedelia derivante dal ben marcato suono del sitar, " SERA A FRISCO ", dal ritmo allegro e vivace con organo in evidenza, " ROCKFELLER CENTER ", con bella presenza di chitarra e batteria, " GILGAMESH ", ottima fusione di beat con jazz. Infine per la sezione " lounge" : " IN CROCIERA ", dai suoni eleganti e piacevolmente ritmici, " ALTALENA PARTY ", raffinata e delicata bossa accompagnata da flauto, chitarra, tromba e batteria.  Altamente consigliato !!!

A real gem where jazz, beat sound and lounge music often cross in an exciting fusion. Among the tracks mainly based on jazz : " THEME FOR UMBERTO ", with trumpet and tenor sax in preminince, " CIK CIK ", underlined by bass and piano, " BLIND SIDE " by the hectic pace, " THEME FOR ALFIO ", fox-swing time with excellent performances by trumpet, piano, sax and trombone. Among the beat-jazz tracks : " JAZZ A CALCUTTA ", with a well-beaten psychy sitar, " SERA A FRISCO " happy and fast rhythm with organ sound, " ROCKFELLER CENTER ", with the groovy presence of guitar and drums, " GILGAMESH ", an exciting fusion between jazz and beat.
