Description
Here we have an unusual LP made and produced by rock star Alex Harvey in 1976.The album is about the Loch Ness Monster,and the search to find it.The spoken word record has eye witness accounts from people who say they had seen "Nessie" and where it happened.There is an accompanying diary booklet in which Alex travels around the Loch and talks to people about their experiences during a 17 day period in July 1976.There are lots of black and white photos in the diary of people he met.At the end of the diary,Alex writes a final piece in which he states his firm believe that a family of un-named creatures live in the Loch,and his reasons why he believes this.The inside of the gatefold sleeve has a map of the Loch and the area around it printed on it.The laminated album cover is in excellent condition,except for one small one inch tear in the right hand side of the back cover,which has been carefully sellotaped back,so you dont notice it that much.The diary booklet is in as new condition with no creases,writing or tears.The record is a very strong EX+ (not too far away from mint in fact).This record is on the K-Tel label,and was withdrawn from sale,so is extremely hard to find now.I have been to Loch Ness myself,so I can well believe there is something there,so if your interested in "Nessie" this record could be of interest to you.
