ALEX HARVEY PRESENTS THE LOCH NESS MONSTER
This is a truly unique record – only a few were ever pressed back in the late 1970’s and as far as I can establish it was withdrawn before it went on general release. One sold on eBay a few years back for $120. I don’t think it’s never been played [as it was the office ‘file copy’] – therefore it’s in mint condition for its age. It looks like it’s a narration about the Loch Ness Monster by Richard O’Brien and Alex Harvey, with eye witness reports. It comes in a gatefold sleeve and it also contains a 16 page booklet, which is a diary extract from July 1976. I was given a copy of this when I started working at the record label (K-tel) over 27 years ago, and told by my boss to “hang on to it” as it would be worth a lot of money one day. I sold my copy a couple of years back to a collector and then, to my surprise, when I was moving office last year, I found another copy of it. So here it is, probably the last time one will ever be offered for sale.
