ALEX SANDERS A WITCH IS BORN 1970 ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE A1 + B1 STAMPER CODES VINYL A & M LP IN GATEFOLD SLEEVE


Sleeve Condition: Vg: Well rubbed with a sticker tear just under Alex Sanders name.  Some ringwear, overall a perfectly acceptable sleeve for what is nearly a 45 year old artefact.   Still complete with the original ‘Adults Only’ warning sticker.    


Record Condition: Vg+: light marking (handling marks), no groove penetrating stylus damage or scratches.  The record plays fine but with some background ‘ssh’.  However, sonically the reproduction is uncompromised and the record tracks perfectly.   The background ‘ssh’ is explained in an internet article about the recording, as being present in the original master tapes and not a result of poor or damaged vinyl.  Of course, there’s no way of telling without another copy to compare it with.  It’s not overly obtrusive and it plays as well as many LPs in my own collection.
