In 1969, San Francisco legend Skip Spence welcomed you into his Acid-soaked folk/country stylings and made absolutely no excuses along the way. Skip pulls a wayward Emitt Rhodes hat-trick here: writing, performing and producing the whole affair all by his lonesome, albeit schizophrenic, self. To quote David Rubinson's liner notes, "this album is an oasis of undersell" -- and "undersell" it did. Glorious!
