Description

Up for auction is Polydor 19817, a 12-inch electric 78rpm record, German pressing.

Alexander von Zemlinsky (conducting the Berlin-Charlottenburg Opera Orchestra), plays:
 
side 1: Cosi Fan Tutte overture
side 2: Il Seraglio overture 
(both by Mozart). 

Condition: disc is in nice VG+ condition.

Grading scale: N, E, VG, G (+ or - signs will modify the basic grade for slightly better or worse).

Shipping: shellac 78s are placed between squares of cardboard, bound with tape, then floated in styrofoam in the box.
This method of packing has proved extremely effective over the years for shipping fragile shellac 78s.
