LP

Recorded at The Cavern Club, Liverpool on February 23 1964. From the days of the great British ‘Blues Boom’, Alexis storms his way through an exciting set before an enthusiastic crowd.

This is his original UK issue on Oriole. (Not a reissue or foreign copy). Play tested. Visually, little sign of play. One light line, not serious. Plays with crackle at the start but cleaned on my vinyl machine the music cuts through fine.

Cover has some wear and creases but no splits or writing. Scuff on the front and age-marks to the back.

No personnel given but my research says it is: Alexis Korner (guitar), Herbie Goins (vocals 3,7,8) Dave Castle (alto sax), Malcolm Soul (organ), Vernon Bown (bass) and Mike Scott (drums)
