Description
ALEXIS KORNER'S BLUES INC. AT THE CAVERN. Very rare record released in 1964 on Oriole PS40058. This sold in very small numbers and is highly sought after. This is not in excellent condition so if you want a really good copy, don't bid for this. However, this is a very serviceable copy.
The sleeve was printed by Ernest J Day and is a flipback issue with the front laminated. The front has quite a lot of creases and corner wear but no cuts or tears. There is ring wear on the back and some scuffs, mainly on the flip edges and this is slightly torn at the top - see photo.
Both sides of the record have surface marks. There are two clicks at the beginning of the first track on side one and the needle slips slightly on my deck. Apart from this, it plays very well with very little background noise.
