MEGA RARE!!   ALEXIS KORNER LP. Original 1964       UK. Oriole  MONO.  “Live at the Cavern”.

Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!!

 

Up for auction is this super RARE Alexis Korner album with Herbie Goins and Blues Incorporated. In Ex++/Nm condition. And I am being my usual very critical self.

This album has of course been played but shows only one or two extremely light thin scuffs. Hardly distinguishable. Sounds are quite superb.

 

COVER:  EX+++. Original Rare E.J. Day sleeve. Front is quite superb with Top Gloss finish. No feathering to opening. Rear of cover is close to NM.

 

 

VINYL:  Just a couple of light scuffs are present which do not affect the superb quality of play. Still retains its just pressed glossy sheen and is perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. Graded: a very strong EX++/NM.

 

LABELS:  Superb N/M. No writing. No spindle trails. Quite breathtaking.

AUDIO: Quite superb thumping MONO sounds. No distortions nor distractions. The best.

 

To sum up. This album is close to MINT. I have not owned nor seen another as good as this. Truly a classic.

This rare album does not surface very often, so don’t miss out. The superbly recorded MONO sounds are quite stunning and a joy to listen to.  A MUST HAVE ALBUM FOR YOUR COLLECTION.  Grab yourself a large slice of great musical history  -  and enjoy!!
