ARTIST: ALEXIS KORNER'S BLUES INCORPORATED

TITLE: R'n'B from the MARQUEE

LABEL: ACE OF CLUBS MONO ACL 1130

This is a NEAR MINT copy of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated LP recorded at the Marquee club in 1962. The band includes Cyril Davies, godfather of British R'n'B as well as Dick Heckstall-Smith and Long John Baldry. As such it is a foundation stone recording of the British '60's blues/R'n'B and beat boom and is consequently one of the most sought after LPs of the period - a must for all lovers of 60's R'n'B, blues and rock.

This LP is in truly immaculate condition. It hardly ever turns up with MINT vinyl like this one because the original owners played them to death. The vinyl is the original, shiny as-new look and UNMARKED. It shows no signs of having been palyed more than 2 or 3 times in the last 43 years. Needless to say the LP plays suberbly with NO deterioration in quality at all.

The labels (see photos) are near MINT with no wear or marks. The flimsey Robert Stace cover usually turns up in poor condition but this IS NOT. It is at least EX+ - flat, sharp with unworn edges, sharp corenrs, sharp,opening edges and VERY CLEAN - WHITE and unmarked unlaminated REAR COVER. (This is a real plus for this copy because the back is usually grubby and disfigured by greasy finger marks - BUT THIS IS TOTALLY CLEAN and as NEW). The LP has its original inner in ex+ condition.
