Description
This is a gently used 12" vinyl LP with the original PS (picture sleeve jacket) titled ALFRED HITCHCOCK'S VERTIGO ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK RECORDING, Music by BERNARD HERRMANN. This is the original FIRST PRESSING from 1970 on Sound/Stage Recordings. It's #2301. This was originally released in 1958. The liner notes on the back of the jacket in the black box state in part: Sound/Stage Recordings are produced with today's most advanced sound facilities. The master tapes are recorded at 15 IPS, utilizing the Dolby Noise Reduction System. See the pics for further details. PLEASE NOTE: The eBay pre-filled system doesn't have any info about this 12" vinyl. The vinyl is VG+ or better. It's very clean & shiny and still has the magnetic pull to it when pulling it out of the inner plain white paper sleeve. Like all vinyl, there may or may not be some surface noise when playing. By the looks of the vinyl under a strong light, I see some light surface marks so this disclaimer is always needed. I don't have the equipment to play test the record so this is graded under a strong light. I suggest to PLAY IT LOUD! The jacket is in VG+ condition & is still in the original shrinkwrap. As of this writing, this record is appx 51 years old. I'm very cautious when grading & very critical about it. I may overstate some of the conditions but better safe than sorry!
