Description
Les Frères Megri – Les Frères Megri (AAA, France, 1970’s)
Ultra rare album by the Mégri brothers, Younès and Mahmoud. This is arabian pop with electric piano, synthesizer and guitar. I wouldn't say it sounds like Les Mogol or Les Derboukas, it is more groovy pop, more like Les Abranis when they play funk, if you see what I mean. And I must say that I have a weakness for the terrific “Waqtach tef’hem”, with its nice melody and electric piano groove. And you'll get breaks with female chorus on “Galou”. Light marks on the record, nothing very bad.
