This is one of those records that's cool in so many ways it's hard to know where to begin, but for starters, it's one of the few known LPs on the legendary Boss garage record label, and it was released in the mid-sixties.

Adding to the cool factor is that these were all issued with just a plain textured copper-colored cover, with some art for the front that buyers could attach with adhesive if they chose to.  This copy includes the artwork, but you're not going to want to attach it, as the cover has been hand-signed by all of the band members including Bobbi Collins, who is presumably the female vocalist and "professional dancer" mentioned on one of the inserts.

We were not present when the signatures on the jacket were made, but the autographs are presumed to be genuine and authentic.

Additional artwork is also included, which looks like it may have been intended as a back cover, but it is partially attached to the paper inner sleeve.  Both pieces of artwork look like they have lick-and-stick type adhesive on the back (like an old postage stamp), and we are not sure if the second piece of artwork was originally intended to be completely attached to the paper sleeve, or if being against it for nearly 60 years has just caused part of it to be stuck on there.

The original textured copper-colored cover is intact and shows just a small amount of surface wear plus some general wear on the seams.  It grades a strong and nice VG+ and isn't too far from EX.

We listened to some of the record, and it plays well with a strong and nice sound.  It visibly grades a strong VG+.

The unattached front-cover art has some mostly light wear and a 2 inch tear on the left side, along with a couple of tiny tears near the lower left corner and some creasing in the top right edge.

The original white paper inner sleeve has a 3 inch seam tear in the bottom center, with the partially attached artwork on one side still looking pretty nice.  There's just a bit of discoloration and light edge wear on the left side.

Overall the condition is quite appealing for an album of this vintage released on such a small label, and it would probably be difficult to find a nicer one, if another can be found at all.

This is one of those elusive Boss records that rarely shows up for sale, bid to win and don't miss out!

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.

With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting.

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.

We ship within 1 business day of payment receipt - no holding of packages for any reason. Our packages are shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS) for most orders. UPS Ground option may be available on certain larger listings. Please ensure your address is correct before ordering/bidding.

United States domestic shipping is calculated based on package weight & destination.
We use eBay International Shipping for all shipments outside the U.S. International shipping rates, as well as any import duties/taxes/customs fees, are handled by eBay during checkout and not included in our prices. Such charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Our available shipping methods & eBay's calculated rates are non-negotiable.
