Description

ALICE COOPER Eighteen / Body (uk Straight STR S 7209) rare original UK promotional copy released 23rd April 1971. 

Only 2 releases on this very short lived UK label founded by Frank Zappa and his manager at the time, Herb Cohen, in the spring of 1969. This was a particularly apt label title for an artist who exercised an anti-drug regime among his band members - and an artist who would have been referred to in the 'hip' language of the time as 'straight'.

Matrixes: heavily stamped STR-7209 A-1 / B-2

Label: original 4 prong centre fully intact; anti slip ridges; both sides nice and clean with no writing – Excellent

Record: looks like it’s been out of it’s sleeve for quite a while, covered in light surface marks, thankfully nothing feelable; played through clear and loud with the occasional pop and click (mainly on the intro) and slight background noise in quieter parts – overall a good VG

Comes inside a plain white paper sleeve.
