This was the guy/band who compelled a panicked TV station manager in Cincinnati, Ohio to pull a live show during the Alice performance and replace it with a Spanish language western. I know because I was watching it when it happened. Alice had the nerve to swill beer and throw trash cans on stage! The monster! I got this album as soon as I could scrape my newspaper route money together in 1971. I owned the album that came after- Killer and my brother and I had worn it out already. If you listen to this album for the first time, you'll understand. Between his brilliant lyrics and their producer Bob Ezrin's perfect dramatic production of a very obviously tight band, they had no peers. I've had a zillion copies of this album. This is one of them. In 2017 they made this with 180 gm vinyl. Combine that with the low pressing numbers with pristine plates and it creates something I never thought I'd hear.... a startlingly clear and powerful sound that makes one fall in love with it all over again. This will ship with a new high quality poly sleeve to protect the package during the shipping and on your shelf. I have included the original promo sticker that was adhered to the shrink, which I removed. I listened to this once so it is truly like new.
