OK - BACK TO LPs OF VARIOUS STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced 1971 U.S. WARNER BROS. RECORDS U.S. STEREO WHITE LABEL PROMO LP titled 'Pretties For You' from legendary glam rocker Alice Cooper. It is Warner Bros. Records U.S. catalog number WS 1840, white label promo copy, thick cardboard Straight Records gatefold cover with the letter 'U' overlapping the right hand edge of the front gatefold - Early Warner Bros. Records pressings of 'Pretties For You' were packaged in Straight Records album covers for a time during the first years that 'Pretties For You' was issued on Warner Bros. Record labels bear two inscriptions indicating a promo copy, one of which does not appear in my accompanying image.

Condition of record is VG+ with some very light and fine surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of gatefold cover is a high VG+ with the only real flaws being a little ring and contact wear and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. This scarce white label promo LP would be a choice addition to any glam-rock, classic rock, or Alice Cooper record collection!
