Straight Records WS 1845--GATEFOLD JACKET w/ INSERT FLYER
Alice Cooper and band's second LP for Frank Zappa's Straight Record label, and much better than their first release. This is Cooper before the wild makeup and pop-like sound the music went to. Here is Cooper with a Hard Rock sound and some Psychedelic in the mix that fit perfectly with what Zappa's label was all about. Gatefold Jacket with photos inside, as well as a nice color photo of the whole group on the back cover. Has the original inner sleeve that pictures Zappa and another in a black and beige image with statements about the government and the record label itself. Also included, which is rare, is the Insert Flyer (see photo) mail away offer to get the 14 track LP 'Zapped' for $1 that contains "some of the most disgusting yet highly praised moments from..."and it names other artists on the label. The wording on the entire flyer is great! That's the package, don't miss early Alice Cooper!
