Vinyl Condition: Excellent (I listen to every record I list.) This sounds so beautiful!


Album Cover: Very good: Weak seams and the back cover has stains. Front looks excellent. The side seam has been discretely taped so it is only noticeable on the back cover.


The WDL series on Disneyland was created for and marketed to adults starting with their soundtracks. The soundtracks were expanded to include background music and stunning art work. However, the records did not sell well so the series was dropped in favor of selling the albums for children with new cover art and in most cases. less music.


Because the soundtrack songs for Alice in Wonderland were only partially recorded, a new recording was created by Camarata who produced the WDL albums. Mouseketeer Darlene Gillespie provided the singing for Alice. Lovely voice!


The vinyl received less pressings and even less album jackets were printed than the other records. However, the remaining pressings were given a new number by simply blackening out the WDL 4015 and a label with DQ 1208 was pasted over it. During the process some of these reconverted vinyls ended up inside the original WDL albums. Very fun!


Please compare with other copies of this version of Alice in Wonderland on the internet. I have only seen one here that is listed for $1200. When in near mint condition it sells from $1500 to $2000.
