Australian-born, France-rooted psychedelic instigator Daevid Allen steps outside his Gong orbit on Good Morning, the joint LP with Euterpe first unleashed to the world in 1976, now out via Musea. Landing in the mid-70s between his more sprawling Gong narratives and later solo detours, the record pares things back to a looser, song-led frame, shot still with his typical offbeat lyricism and cosmic leanings. 'Children Of The New World' and 'Spirit' drift through light, acoustic-tinged arrangements, while 'Song Of Satisfaction' and the title cut maintain a gentler, frontierist edge, though never to tip into excess.
