THE WHITE LABEL PROMO, RADIO STATION-, AUDITION OR DEMONSTRATION COPIES AND RELEASES (such as the one we have here) were often distributed to the radio stations before the record was released to the public, sometimes as much as four months ahead. These records are generally considered to be the "first among equals": the VERY FIRST generation and the VERY FIRST pressings of the particular title; a PROTOTYPE and the earliest known official pressing of the record
The records have George Piros’ initials (GP) stamped or hand-etched in the trail-off vinyl (dead wax), which signify highly professional masterings either done by - or personally authorized by - the legendary engineer himself
Both Vinyl Discs Are Rated AS STRONG VG++, To Near Mint Minus. For most part, the vinyl looks impeccable, without any MAJOR visual flaws or imperfections. Much of the original luster is intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.
THE COVER IS ABOUT VERY GOOD Minus Minus (VG-) to GOOD Plus
The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:
The front of the gatefold cover has some "number writing" from someone putting a piece of paper on the front cover and writing on it with pressure... a phone number or adding something on top of the cover once upon a time.
It's to the left of side of Gregg Allman
I was able put some bright light on it to get it to show up in photos # 11 & 12
You have to angle it in the light just right to see this or right up to your face

The bottom of gatefold cover has 2 split seams about 4 inchs long and the normal shelfwear on bottom spine - photo #3
The top of the gatefold is fine - photo # 4
All 4 corners have some wear
The spine shows wear - see photo # 4-5
The back cover is pretty fine
