Description
THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND
‘THE ALLMAN BROTHERS AT FILMORE EAST’
The Allman Brother At Fillmore East was the The Allman Brothers Band's third release. It was released in July 1971 and as the title suggests, the recording took place at New York City's venue Fillmore East, run by promoter Bill Graham. It was recorded over the course of three nights in March 1971 and is considered by some critics to be one of the greatest live albums in rock music. I can certainly find agreement with that statement!

1ST UK ISSUE GATEFOLD COVER
This is quite possibly one of the rarest UK PLUM rock albums there is.
One of the very final albums pressed on plum and certainly in very small numbers compared to many.
Led Zeppelin Plums are positively common by comparison.
This UK cover has the Atlantic Kinney sticker on the back with the K60011 number, but the record of course has the plum codes showing that this was printed on the fringe of the label design format change in 1971. Most copies to be found in the UK are the US cover versions printed in much larger numbers and exported to UK to save costs on an album that was unlikely to sell well in the UK.
A UK Plum copy with a genuine UK cover is indeed very rare.

CONDITION
This LP is 43 years old so I am reluctant to grade anything that old as Mint but this really is a stunning copy.
I am incredibly fussy when it comes to condition and have searched the globe in pursuit of perfection when collecting treasured titles, often upgrading at huge cost just to get that perfect copy. I will always be 100% honest and try to mention everything however small because I know that you as a serious collector demand the same. I know only full well the dissappointment and time wasting of dealing with sellers who mislead when it comes to condition.

PACKAGING INFORMATION
This is from my own personal collection put together over the last 40 years.
All my records are stored upright with the records removed from their original sleeve and put into a new white sleeve which is then put into a stiff white protective card sleeve, this saves wear on the original inner record sleeve and prevents ringwear. The outer sleeves are then carefully put into a heavyweight plastic sleeve. This is how they will be delivered to you and will be sent in strong and secure packaging to ensure they arrive with you in the same condition as they leave me.
I'm sorry but Items of value greater than £49 must be sent Special Delivery as Royal Mail Signed For only includes compensation up to £50 so please wait for me to invoice after the auction close.
This is a treasure in any collection and a rare opportunity to acquire!
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BIDDING!
Due to a forthcoming move I have no choice but to thin my collection so these are very reluctant sales that are now looking for a good home!
