Description

Legendary performance on original English ALP pressings. See cover photograph for details of performance. Printing on spines undamaged. A few superficial visual imperfections that do not prevent both records playing very well. Occasional swishing during quiet passages. The vinyl is glossy and the absence of heavy spindle marks would suggest that the records have had very little use since being pressed some 50 years ago! As this is a rare set and likely to be a high value item, I will try to give an honest description of the four sides: Side 1. No scratches. One blemish about .25 inches long. This is non-sounding and does not affect the playing. Side 2. One non-sounding hairline. Plays well. Side 3. Three surface blemishes and two hairlines. All non-sounding. Side 4. A few surface blemishes but this side plays very well. Three clicks towards the end of the movement just before the applause comes in. Not for those seeking absolute sonic perfection, but a very serviceable set, about 85% of perfect I guess.
