TCHAIKOVSKY - "MANFRED" SYMPHONY
Performed by the French National Radio Orchestra conducted by CONSTANTIN SILVESTRI
One of many, very rare lps featuring Szell, Ansermet, Kletzki, Barbirolli, Krips & Silvestri (amongst others) listed this week, including some "Grails" and Test Pressings.
Very Rare 3 x Single Sided Test Pressings. These were supplied to Bill Newman the music reviewer and producer.
There are two versions of side one, presumably awaiting approval consideration, to see which would make the cut.
Stampers are: Side 1 - (version one undated) 2YLA 481-2N Side 1 - (version two dated 29th October 1958) - 2XLA 481-22 B Side 2 - (dated 21st October 1958) - 2XLA 482-22 D

Sleeve: Production sleeve is EX- All three have original inner sleeves.
Vinyl is EX/EX++. Bright and shiny. Plays superbly, the odd light tic.
Side One 2N has a tiny needle drop on the run in groove which creates three tics. Sine One 22B has one pop right at the start.
Side Two has a tiny pressing flaw at the start which creates six heartbeats and a couple of tics.
