Description
Bach's GOLDBERG VARIATIONS played by Rosalyn Tureck (piano).
HMV ALP 1548 and 1549. Recording made in 1958, the set was purchased by myself in 1961.
Disc are in MINT condition and have only been played three or four times.
The sleeves are generally good with no tears or creases, but there is some rubbing at the top and bottom edges and the backs are a trifle dirty.
This is a rare and hard to find set, particularly with the discs in such good condition.

A friend has pointed out to me that the sleeves may have originally been laminated. I'm not sure about this, as I certainly don't remember any laminate peeling off while they've been in my possession during the last 35 years. But to avoid any misapprehension, I have to confirm that the sleeves are NOT laminated.
